The most basic mode for GigaTask is the TaskBox. Assign GigaTask
to a button. Press the button to bring up the task-switching box,
or press and hold the button to switch to the next task.
Tap on a task to switch to it, or Tap and hold for other
options (including Closing the task).
Each of the Buttons down at the bottom can bring up a menu. All
the items on these menus can be programmed by you.
Just select the item from the Menu to launch the program or Control
Panel Applet, or to perform one of GigaTask's internal functions
These menus can also be directly attached to a hardware button.
Just press the button to launch Calendar, or press and hold
to show this menu.
You can also use Up / Down / Left / Right, and Action to switch
menus, and make a selection.
In Start Menu / Settings / System, you'll find GigaTask Settings
(note that after installing, you have to do a soft reset for it
to show up!).
Here, you can determine which Button Icons appear at the bottom,
and what items appear on the menus.
| Select the Button Label and Menu Item to change, and then drop down
the Replace With tree. Here, you'll find all the functions that GigaTask
supports. |
Make your selection, and the Menu Item is updated.
| GigaTask can place itself in the TaskBar in several different modes.
In Basic, you'll hardly know it's there, but the task control is much
improved! |
| With GigaTask running in the TaskBar, you can switch and close tasks
without using the button and the TaskBox. |
In the Pro Mode, you have access to GigaTask's three menus of functions,
in addition to the task switching.
No matter what you're doing, any of 30 or so functions is just
a tap or two away, without hunting and fumbling.
