About

Even after way too long without updating, StarTap and GigaBar are still the top two alltime downloads over at CNet's Download.com. Half a million, total! Look for seriously improved versions of these programs in the next months.

Of course, installed on a million units, iTask is the most widespread application from an independent developer.

Don't even get us started on the potential of MOE . . .

And don't forget:

Life's too short to take seriously!

Thumbs Up!

GigaTask switches and controls running tasks, and has a whole raft of its own functions. It's really either "GigaBar Lite", or "iTask Pro", depending on your bias and experience. It's way less intrusive and intimidating than GigaBar, and way more capable than iTask.

In fact, it has GigaBar's full complement of built-in functions, from Screen Capture to entering Ctrl-Characters, but it's no more difficult to configure than iTask. And, it runs on everything, from the antique CE 2.01 B/W units, to the hottest new iPAQ Pocket PC 2002. HPCs too!

And, it's skinnable, including the drop shadow type and transparency you see here.

GigaTask can be used indefinitely in its free form, in its most basic modes. The Pro modes, though, will stop functioning at the end of each month. At that time, you can either download a new copy, or pay the ten bucks!

As you may have heard, half of each $10 GigaTask sale is paid to the SkiNNerZ Network. This money supports the skinning of this program, and all other programs that can support skins. You'll hear a lot more about the Skinnerz Network in the future. Stay tuned!

GigaTask doesn't interfere with the operation of either iTask or GigaBar, so you can actually install and remove the three programs completely independently.
